As I said previously, I had GD with 1st and not 2nd pregnancy. I didn't
mention in my post a week ago that I was nursing my toddler during my
second pregnancy as I didn't think it was of any relevance. However, L.
Davis' post said that breastfeeding may reduce need for insulin in
diabetics. That's fascinating. Any ideas why? Is the extra sugar going to
milk production? If this really works then I may try hard to keep number
two BF for my planned next pregnancy... so TIA for any info!!!
