We had a panic call today from a mom who returned to work this
Mon. This morning as she went to get the EBM from her deep freeze to
take to the sitter, she found that the power to that freezer had gone off
and all the milk was still quite cold, but thawed. She put it into
another freezer at once and it is now refrozen. She wants to know "What
is the worse thing that can happen if I use the twice frozen milk?" We
could find nothing on this, but offered to check the net for her. Does
anybody have info on this? We believe the milk is safe (certainly safer
than the alternative ABM), but would like a reference or expert advice to
give her. Thank you. Anne and Margaret (again!)
