Hello to all,

The reason LACTNEWS was developed was to take the pressure off the Kathleens
to keep advertising off LACTNET.  LACTNET is a place to talk.  LACTNEWS is a
place to make announcements about conferences, books, videos, catalogs of
educational materials, courses, and mentors.  We are in the process of
putting up our first mentor post today.  There are conferences from
Australia, Canada and Europe on-line, and lots of US meetings.

LACTNEWS is easy to use. It loads very fast, so does not use up a lot of
on-line time waiting around.  You just point and click with the mouse to
move around inside it, following the simple menus.  If you want to post
(insert) an announcement or ad, there is a very easy way to do that with
prompts to lead you through.  If you put your e-mail, we will provide a LINK
so that interested parties can post to you directly to inquire more about
your meeting, service, or product.  The cost for this is a one-time posting
fee of $10.  I am charging this due to the fact the maintenance of the page
and on-line time costs me several hundred dollars a year. I am not charging
anything for the time it takes me to do this. LLL and other non-profits post
for free.  Users are obviously welcome at no charge.
