From a mother who may have sensitized her eldest son to cow milk,
resulting in two years of milk allergy, and who also may have sensitized
her daughter to peanuts, resulting in life-threatening allergy, let me
say a word or two on behalf of this woman who acts as a "missionary", and
who talks of "conspiracy" and "cover-up" whin LLL does not warn every
woman of this possibility: feelings of grief and guilt will make someone
do surprising things. Grief for the healthy child one wants to raise, and
guilt for, having known better, one might have avoided the result (excuse
my english, but I think you can see the point). Even if one acted out of
ignorance, there is a little pang that says "you shouldn't have..." and,
believe me, it is difficult to live with ! So, a word of sympathy for
this poor woman who desperatly (and not necessarily elegantly) wants to
help others avoid the problems she had...
Happy holidays, everyone,
