I heard a discussion of calcification in breast ducts and the implication
was that in a recently lactating breast the calcification is a part of the
involution of the lactating breast. The calcification being due to residue,
or such, of milk production.

I remember few details and the above is quite vague, but perhaps other
Lactnetters know what this is about.  If this implication is sound it could
put many mothers at ease when calcification is discovered after weaning.
