Tia,

Homeopathy doesn't work as you asked.  There are different remedies
that would be prescribed depending on certain symptoms.  So, what
would be prescribed for one woman to increase her milk supply would
not neccessarily be prescribed to another woman.
There are a series of questions and observations that need to be made
to help the doctor prescribe the correct remedy.
Homeopathy works with the law of similiars.  So like symptoms are
treated with remedies that produce the same symptoms.
If you want to understand this more, a good book to start with is
Homeopathic Medicine at Home by Maesimund B. Panos, M.D. and Jane
Heimlich.
