I share your fustration.  I even find it more difficult to have nurses
listen to me.  I think that it is because I am not a nurse.  I am not
interested in starting any wars but I would be curious to know if many
of the LC's (nurses or not) have more difficulties dealing with nurses
than dealing with doctors on breastfeeding matters.
I finally concluded that it was a control issue for the nurses.  They
became very possessive of the babies.
Let me add that not all the nurses I work with were like this, but a
majority were.
Could we have an honest discussion about this?
