quite significant. One infant death has been reported in a breastfeeding
mother receiving maintenance methadone therapy. The AAP approves
breastfeeding in patients undergoing methadone therapy if the dose is
less than 20 mg/24 hours. Use extreme caution. "
" Adverse Effects: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, respiratory depression,
sedation, withdrawal syndrome "
