In response to Kate West's post re: safety data for breast pumps.
A good source for this type of data is ECRI.  They collect all safety and
injury reports from many different sources, compile them, and issue reports
about injuries caused by various brands of breast pumps.  This is the most
comprehensive source of this type of information available and it is updated
constantly.  I would encourage anyone who is concerned about product safety
to utilize this service. ECRI  (610) 825-6000 Extension 271.  Ask for Eileen
Sykes. Request medical safety reports on: Breast pump injuries and/or Human
milk contamination.

Also, in response to many of you who have posted me since my post to Lacnet
last week.  Thanks for letting me know what the "rumor du jour" is about
