Yes, I've showed her how to manipulate both upper and lower lips while the
child is latched on.  I've suggested that she hold the baby closer to prevent
his moving them out of position and mom is very compliant.

His suck is fairly good although he could cup the breast better with his
tongue.  It is just visible when he is nursing.  His palate has a small
bubble at the front,  and he is very verbal about being taken off to
reposition but mom has also agreed to do this.  She does break suction before
taking him off the breast.
