I am interested in hearing about anyone who is doing/has done work on the
problem of assigning a value to breastfeeding or to women's milk. By value,
I mean the economic value of breast milk as a "product," and also the value
of the caring and nurturing involved in breastfeeding, and also the value of
breastfeeding in decreased health care costs. I have some excellent booklets
done by Sandra Huffman in 1990. Does anyone know about further investigation
of this question?
And can anyone put me in touch with Sandra Huffman?
I look forward to your replies.
