Well, Nancy, where do marine mammals "keep" their breasts? You got me
there! The video of the dolphins nursing didn't show anything that looked
like a breast. The mother's underside looked just as flat as the baby's.
The baby swam up to the mother (up from underneath her) and kind of stuck
his "nose" at her "belly" at which point the video highlighted it and
labeled it "nursing." This nursing lasted only briefly and then the baby
slowed down and swam behind the mother again. For all I could truly tell
he could have been just bumping into her. Any marine mammalogists (sp?) on
the list??? Just *where* exactly *do* dolphins keep their breasts?
