I would appreciate information about establishing a mother to mother
breastfeeding support group. The target group is primarily women and
families at risk( low income, single,adolescents). A resource mother(peer
counselor) will be working closely with the mothers. Also, if anyone could
recommend a good peer counselor resource manual this would help me in my
educational sessions with the resource mothers in our projects. I realize
that La Leche League has developed a peer counsellor training program and I
am looking into this already.
