Lactnetters,
A friend of mine has asked me to pose this problem for your help. She is
seeing a mother who is about two weeks postpartum. She is totally unable to
express or release with nursing any milk on one side. She is lacating well
on one side. She has milk in the breast, she feels full ducts etc. but no
milk from this nipple. She is an experienced LC who has never not been able
to get at least a few drops from moms. I have never has an experince with
anything like this. Has anyone had any experience with a mom. Baby and mom
are doing well nursing on one breast but my friend is having the mother see
her Dr. with possible blockage ie. tumor...what do you all think?
