Lisa Amir- Yes, I see lots of oral/nipple thrush, with and without classic
symptoms. In fact, I designed a handout for my future BF classes about it. I
don't know if it is because of our geography- hot, humid, lots of pollen and
ragweed- but I see this VERY often. I also see babies settle down after
treating yeast with acidophilus. It seems many of my babes have to go
through at least 2 bottles of Nystatin before sufficient results. Most moms
are reluctant to use Gentian Violet.
