To clarify what I meant by the remark re: LLL background; it was meant to
illustrate to those of you who are familiar with LLL, the empathy and
supportiveness which mothers who attended the group were given.  Some of the
hospital groups in the area are more "factually centered" and I felt that it
was important to let the moms know that someone cared enough to respect their
point of view.  I've been a Leader since 1982 and through thick and thin (and
many work situations where my bfing knowledge was important), I have NEVER
been apologetic or ashamed of LLL or my strong beliefs on mother/baby
togetherness.  Sometimes, tho, you have to know when it's the appropriate
time to announce that you are a strong supporter of LLL.
