HI all,

To follow up with Catherine's train of thought, when a Mom quits, if we can
help her to see the breastfeeding that she did do, or the breastmilk that
the baby did receive as positive, then she hopefully will not see the
experience as negative, and the door will remain open for breastfeeding the
next baby. And she will not bad mouth breastfeeding to her friends, hopefully.

In my work with low income Mom's, I had to bite my tongue and swallow my
disappointment more than once, when a Mom quit, so that I could put it in a
positive light for her. I could almost feel the shift in their attitude to
pride even over the phone.
