I wonder, is there a way that an organization such as WHO, ILCA, or a pump
company can produce and air (TV, radio, etc.) a public service announcement
for breastfeeding? They have Jennifer Aniston, Helen Hunt and many others
discussing domestic violence, safe sex and whatever else can come to mind.
Why not Lindsey Wagner, Deborah Norville or some other formerly or currently
breastfeeding celebrity. Man, if I could win the lottery, the things I could
do for the good of breastfeeding. Right now, I have to depend on the big
guys (and gals).
And, by the way, why not have a *club* advertised on tv for pregnant moms
where Medela or someone else who's listening, could send out pretty little
pamphlets with the hazards of ABM, nutritional advice and possibly some tips
for finding a breastfeeding advocate, support group, LC, etc. in their home
town.
Some big ideas from a struggling private practice LC with little cash.
