Persistent nipple pain associated with breast pain between feeds, following
antibiotics, sounds like thrush to me. What a pity she has to ask a Ped and
Ob: a family physician could treat the whole family.
Sometimes thrush in the baby's mouth causes discomfort (to the baby) when
feeding. Will be interested to hear if clicking improves after baby treated
for thrush.
By the way, do many people see unsettled / "colicky" babies who improve
when treated for thrush?
