The salty colostrum theory sounds a little "off" to me. If baby's blood
work showed high salts, this kid is dehydrated, and needs to get feeding
properly. The main reason for a mom with "salty" milk is that the supply
is decreasing for lack of milk removal. This is a danger sign for the
baby and the breastfeeding relationship. Hope this dyad gets it together
or comes in for a consult.
