I have a private practice and have been working on physican referrals and
business has continued to build which is exciting.
Yesterday I had a physician beep me to see a patient in the hospital. I am
not a RN. My question is how anyone handles charting at hospitals. I
normally send a report to the physician but felt due to nurses and their
desire to get something in this baby ASAP that we needed to make a note of
it. I would appreciate hearing how others chart this.
I struggle with charting while on the phone and in consults - Any
suggestions on how to get better at this. I have trouble talking,
listening, and writing - but yet I strive to document everything -
appreciate your tips TIA
