To Sue Huml - what a great opener for a comedienne-in-disguise.....

I looked out my window yesterday to see two ducks swimming in our backyard
pool. Then my bird dog remembered she could swim and launched herself into
the pool at a dead run. The ducks left in big rush without even leaving their
forwarding address. The ducks weren't blocked from exiting the pool by our
fence, though - they cleared it with a good 20 feet to spare.

What does this have to do with lactation? I grabbed my camera (which is
ALWAYS ready thanks to habits learned from my dad the photographer) - the
picture of these non-blocked ducks and my dumb dog are on the same roll of
film, sandwiched between shots of mastitis, a plugged nipple duct, damaged
nipples and a close-up shot of a short frenulum. I'd love to see the
expression on the technician's face when the film is developed. Blocked ducts
and non-blocked ducks, all on the same roll of film. HA!

Linda Smith, enjoying the lighter side of life today.
