Star- I'm not sure about the protocol for treating near delivery. However,
she can take acidophilus, as I have posted about before. I, myself, had a
vaginal yeast infection that would not go away with the usual treatments. 24
hours of high dose acidophilus, and BAM! it was gone. This will cause any
problems with pregnancy and may keep many complications (sore nipples,
cracks, mastitis, thrush, etc.) away. Let me know if you need more info.
