Hello everyone, It's wonderful to read all the great information on this
list. It was also nice to meet a few of you at the LLL USWD conference.
I've been on Lactnet for awhile, but in a lurking status, now I have a
question so I'll introduce myself first.
I've been a LLLL in Hawaii for two years now and am an LC student through BSC.
My question is have any of you worked with a mother that has been able to
nurse a baby adopted from China? The mom that posed this question is
lactating, currently feeding a 2yo. She is concerned about whether the baby
would accept the breast since most of the ones adopted out of China are at
least 6 months old. She is also concerned about what the Chinese government
would feel about her nursing a baby from there. TIA for any info.
Aloha, Andrine LLLL in Hawaii
