I recently did an inservice on basic BFing management in a university
hospital. The majority of the attendees were nursing students. When I
got the evaluations back, only one evaluation really caught my attention.
Under the remarks sections the student stated "I don't feel there should
be a 2 hr. class on BFing. Material could of been covered in less time. If
baby doesn't latch on in a reasonable time - give it a bottle." (sigh) Hope
whoever this student is, she doesn't work in the L/D/R ward when she
graduates!
