Hi all;
Originally someone posted about nipple confusion, I posted in response
saying that I'd read about a higher percentage given after research. I
finally found my copy of LLL's "The Breastfeeding Answer Book". On page
253, paragraph 3, it states:
"Kittie Frantz, retired LLL Leader, pediatric nurse practitioner, and
Director of the Breastfeeding Infant Clinic for Los Angeles County USC
Medical Center, estimates that 95% of all babies will become confused if
given and artificial nipple during the first three to four weeks after birth
(Frantz 1985)."
So, that's where I got my idea that it was a LARGE percentage of babies.
Correct me if I'm interpreting this wrong.
