We are having fairly good luck with reimbursement for breast pumps.  Just
yesterday I received written confirmation of a verbal order for a PNS from one
of the managed care providers (Healthsource Provident).  All mothers should send
reimbursement requests for medically related lactation support and services as a
matter of course.  I suspect that it helps that our lactation center is hospital
based so charges are sent from the hospital business office to the managed care
provider as with any other hospital service.
