Diane,
There is a relatively high incidence of sexual abuse among people suffering from an
eating disorder such as anorexia.  Has this possibility been explored with this mom?  It
could also explain the distancing behavior she is exhibiting with her baby.  Is the
anorexia something new or did it also exist with her older two children?
