The massage therapists that I have talked to (women) say that any nursing
mother is given a small pillow or rolled-up towel to put under the breasts
because they all said that lying on lactating breasts while back work is
being done can cause damage to breast tissue.  I worked with a mother who
had infections after two massages that were soooo painful to her breasts.
