Re:  the soapy fresh milk.  If this isn't from failure to adequately rinse
bottles and pump parts, consider asking mom if she is using any
steroid-containing nasal sprays for allergies, asthma, etc.  I worked with a
mom whose fresh and frozen milk quickly became nasty and soapy.  This turned
out to be the factor creating the problem.  I recall looking in some drug
book and finding some info about the phenomonon and can't now recall where,
but will check for you.
