Regarding this baby's wt. gain, in my experience, most peds will want the
kid to be gaining one half to one ounce per day.  I really look at how
much the baby is taking from the SNS at a time, and slowly titrate down.
Has a hidden infection like a UTI been ruled out in the baby? One of my
most frustrating slow gainers was finally shown to have a UTI but it took
a long time to pick this up as the doc kept blaming it on the mom's milk
supply.
