I have a friend who took a graduate course on ADHD (attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder) and found it was related to glucose not being
metabolized correctly by the brain.  Her question to me was--does
breastfeeding help decrease the incidence of this problem and is there any
research on ADHD and breastfed children?

TIA--Janice Conover in Racine, WI who just had her first experience with
stitches in the chin of her 2 1/2 year old Zachary, and not very supportive
hopital personel reguarding comforting him by nursing
