Talk about getting political. :) You'd boycott someone's talk because of
his choice of tie?? Surely you jest...
>How about a Jerry Garcia tie? I have heard that the Grateful Dead has a
>history of giving money to support breastfeeding...
Okay, let's clear something up here. I didn't suggest a Rush tie (yes,
Rush as in Limbaugh, not the hospital) because he has or hasn't supported
breastfeeding or to be politically correct (or is it incorrect on this
list :) ), but because THEY LOOK GREAT ON CAMERA!
>Wife has already sewn color coordinating patches in clothes to let me know
>what goes with what - you know what slobs guys are about matching up clothes.
> If all else fails I can always wear my LACTNET T shirt. Ha, Ha !!!! See
>you all in beautiful KC!

>Dr. Brian : )
It would appear that Dr. Brian has his wardrobe under control. :) And
just so he doesn't think all these 'helpful' women are being sexist, I
think my husband does a much better job of matching clothes than I do. I
usually ask for his advice and opinions!
>OK- help this ignorant woman in Israel - what is a Rush tie????
Rush tie: a very well made, beautifully designed tie.

I hope this clears up any misunderstandings, confusion, etc.

EVI,
Your note came as I was typing up my above response. Why is it that it is
okay for someone to support Larry King, Paul Newman, honor Truman's
memory, or boycott a speech because of someone's tie choice (a choice, I
will add that is his, and he has NOT ask for our advice or shared his
choice of wardrobe, although that LACTNET t-shirt is looking mighty
'safe' :) ), BUT should someone dare suggest that he wear a high quality,
good looking tie that just happens to be created, marketed, and sold by a
conservative, it is such a horrible choice? Has Rush Limbaugh been out
attacking breastfeeding? Not to my knowledge and I will admit I'm well
educated on Rush Limbaugh. Let's quit the political nonsense and get back
to breastfeeding topics now, please! I called it a Rush tie because
that's what they are called, not to start some big political argument.
Climbing off my soapbox now...
