Dear Lactnetters,

Do any of you know how prolactin levels of a mother breastfeeding a one year
old baby might affect a mixed connective tissue disease, possibly Sjogrens
Syndrome?

The mother has symptoms of an arthritic condition and dryness of the eyes,
mouth and vagina and has been told to wean because of elevated prolactin.

Any input would be appreciated! Thanks so much.
