Chris,

I had to go and look up the reference I used for the "Intake Guidelines" I
had written for the Medela tearoff- Breast Milk Collection and Storage.  It
came from one of the Pediatric books I had from nursing school.  Before I
looked it up, I knew the answer.  Yes, it is based on formula.  I got tired
of clients always asking "how much should my baby be taking from a bottle?
 So I added in this extra information.  Mind you that I have but in there
"average intake".  Maybe some day we will have all information we need for
just the breastfeeding baby.  Wishful thinking I guess.
