We can't blame math on ABM - it's much older.  Sir Isaac Newton invented
CALCULUS in the 17th century.  I don't know when algebra was invented,
but the name "algebra" comes from middle English roots.  I can't remember
where, but I think I remember reading of the ancient Egyptians using
symbols instead of numbers, which is the principal of it.
