My husband and I have been reading all the co sleeping lactnets over the
last few days with smiles on our faces! We have a 2 1/2 year old and a
9 months old. The baby hates co sleeping and hits my husband all night
long with the hand closest to him! (She is of course breastfed, still
twice at night). My son, was breastfed for 17 months and we didn't
encourage co sleeping with him. About 2 weeeks ago he took to climbing
into bed with us at around 4.00 am and has done so ever since. We love
it and of course so does he. One big problem, he is toilet trained day
and night 98% of the time and last night wet our bed, electric blanket
too! So tell me, what do you do with toilet training and co sleeping.
The other thing is that if we have to get up, me to baby and hubby to
the beeper, the toddler wakes and thinks its time to play. How do
others cope?
