Hi all,
One last post before I go e-mail to get some concentrated work done on my
classes in grad school before i leave for ILCA.
My source at the Healht department in our county has now said, after scaring
me otherwise, that saliva is not of concern as a source of HIV unless there
is blood in it and I don't think I've ever seen that.
And newborns don't have much saliva, do they? Why do babies start drooling
at 3 mos? Because their salivary glands begin secretions, right or am I wrong.
If saliva is a problem, then I would think that urine is and how many
parents of adoptvie babies use gloves?
Please e-mail me privately if you have any comments or more to add. See you
at ILCA!
KA, thanks for your help.
