We don't have a NICU, but if baby is hospitalized for some reason, I
have mom or family member take pump kit home once every 24 hours and
boil for 10 minutes. If I sent it to be sterilized, then it would be
too long to get it back. and she would be without.  You do have each
mom have their own new kit, right?

also, about your high price for internet access.  Compuserv and AOL
are generally the MOST expensive... do you have any other local
providers that are cheaper?  I live in a rural area and we have
several choices... ranging from 19.95 for unlimited hours to 20.oo
for 50 hours of service.  You may want to check into other providers
to save you some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
