Dear "all",
I have a brazilian friend, called Ana Varejao, who worked since 1987 in my
organization (Grupo Origem) supporting and promoting breastfeeding in poor
communities.
Now, she is living in Memphis. Her daughter (6 years old) has got laeukemia
and they're in the St. Jude Hospital.
She's a very strong women, but, as you can imagine, she is very upset, sad
and she needs a friend, someone to talk, to share experiences. I think she
could be useful to help latin mothers in breastfeeding issues. She doesn't
speak Englsih very well, but she can try...
Well, if you live in Memphis or if you want to talk with her, please, let me
know and I could give you her phone number and address. She doesn't have
e-mail, yet.
Thanks in advance.
Denise Arcoverde.
