                      RE>Minchin JHL reviews 6/3/96

Maureen,

Your point is well taken. I have tried to avoid restricting reviews to any
particularly discipline by including the following paragraph in the
introduction: "* If you feel you have the competence to review a book but do
not have the specific degree I request, please bring it to my attention. A
different degree which I may have overlooked and/or your experience may put
you in a position to review this book. (Thanks to Ione Sims for this
pointer.)"

My posting was a long one and this "detail" may have escaped the attention of
more than one potential reviewer. Thank you for bringing it up. This gives me
an additional opportunity to emphasize the multi-disciplinary position of the
review column of the Journal of Human Lactation.
