i have seen both things happen with moms seeming to have a decreased supply
when treating allergy or cold. sometimes it is not just the drug which may
cause the problem whenever mom is not feeling well, cold allergy or whatever,
she may also feel that her milk is down, (because she is). My suggestions
always are use non drug means first to help relieve symptoms, then if that
doesnt help enough, use the smallest amount and the shortest acting drug
possible, and have mom take it easy and maybe add a snack feeding or two
while she is kicking back on her activities to help get supply back up where
it belongs
