Hi All,

This message is from a IBCLC friend of mine not on lactnet yet. She is
working with a mom, first baby, no initial problems with breastfeeding.
Developed yeast infection, both mom and baby treated and appeared to clear
up. Now mom is complaining of stinging, shooting pains in right breast. MD
has her on Diflucan 100mg every other day. Mom states this pain is not
related to let downs. Is this intraductal pain or spasms? What do you
think? My friend would appreciate any suggestions. TIA
