Hi All,
Dany, I have heard that Brewers Yeast is helpful for increasing a low milk
supply.
Is this Lactation Specialist suggestion this to ALL moms regardless of their
milk supply? If so, then I agree that is NOT neccessary. If she is
suggesting it to moms with low supplies then I have seen it be very helpful.
However, I have seen much better results with a combination of Marshmellow
and Fenugreek! (Have a client who takes 5 capsules 3 X a day and has gone
from pumping only 2oz total per pumping to 5 oz per pumping. She cannot BF
because baby has Pierre Robin syndrome and has Cleft Palate, and a trache
'cause her chin closed off her airway it was so small)
Sorry, no references, just info from my friend who is a Master Herbalsit.
Jay
Who is really into the herb thing now!
