Hi, dears

I'm member of a breastfeeding support group in Brazil, called
ORIGEM. We work since 1987, when myself and a friend Ana Coeli were
pregnant and decided to help poor women, in poor communities, promoting,
protecting and supporting breastfeeding. We were together during years
fighting against bottlefeeding.

Now, my friend Ana is living in Memphis, USA.

Her 5 years old daughter, Lais, has got leukemia. They're in the St. Jude
Hospital. We don't have good hospitals, in Brazil, and she needed to go to
Memphis to try to save her daughter's life.

As you could imagine, she's very upset and alone, sometimes desesperate.
She doesn't speak english very well, but she can communicate.

Please, I would like to ask for someone who lives and Memphis to call her
and give some solidarity, friendly words.

I don't know, but I think that Ana could help mothers who speak portuguese
or spanish. I think that could be very important to her don't stop the
breastfeeding work.

Thanks in advance,

Denise Arcoverde.
