en, I have been using Breastmilk for medicine for several years.
Unfortunately I cannot remember where I learned about it. Here in Savannah
we are blessed with a pediatrician who is truly a strong advocate for
breastfeeding and he uses Breastmilk to treat both conditions. He recommends
2 drops q x 3-4 hrs. for eye infections, and for stuffy noses he recommends
put 2 drops in each nostril, suction with syringe, and put 2 more drops in
and leave them. I have used this on my own family and it works great! My
16 yr. old (he would kill me if he knew this went out over the internet) has
seasonal allergies and will ask for Breastmilk for his nose. I don't know
what we will do when Anna is no longer nursing! Oh, one more thing, the
Breastmilk should be fresh.
