A couple of questions/requests for information ... Pat Martens related
that some physicians she knows feel swabs don't pick up yeast.

I'd love see information here from anyone who has themselves or knows
of others who have been culturing milk for yeast and/or using swabs on
the nipple/areolar surface. What are the protocals for this? Do you
use "clean caught / mid stream" milk samples? Any skin prep,
especially for swabs? Does the lab specify if the yeast is candida
albicans or some other type? How long do cultures take? Can swabs be
read immediately, under a microscope, the way vaginal swabs for yeast
can?
