Everything I've read says that yeat is both heat and cold resistant. (Tully
and Overfield state that the milk should be discarded due to possible
re-infection). I hate the idea of tossing precious breastmilk.
I have a different opinion. Since yeast is an opportunist and not an actual
infectious organism, it would follow that once the body is back in balance,
the yeast would not be able to take hold.
Could one of our MD's or perhaps a pathologist comment?
