Mom phoned me re: inducing lactation for adopted infant. Hasn't got infant
yet -- general inquiries. Her hx includes hyperprolactinemia, a preg. loss
at 10 weeks 5 yrs ago, and fertility problems since. She is expressing
drops of a rather thin, milky fluid from her nipples. I lack more details
as this was just a ph. exchange prior to doing the intake (she's coming in
for an appt.) I have worked with moms with this condition before, but not
in an induced lactation. Anybody have any thoughts or experience? Maybe it
will work in her favor? Any risks? Thanks!
