As a mother who nursed on one side only due to an unresponsive inverted
nipple. I worried about how my breasts would appear in clothing. Most
of my casual outfits worked fine without wearing anything except I'd put
2 washable bra pads on that side if needed but I found that swimsuits and
dressier or low cut outfits I needed more. I found inexpensive pads that
were designed for use in swimwear and I would wear one. Clothing is
pretty forgiving unless it is revealing. It certainly is cheaper than a
prosthesis and it made me feel more normal because I could go without
anything on most days.
